Metal 84 inner arc ring packing, also known as Miller ring packing, is a new type of high-efficiency metal bulk packing. This packing has reasonable geometric symmetry, good structural uniformity, and high porosity. The eight arc coils and four arc rings are arranged alternately in the axial direction, and the named arc segments are folded inward along the radial ring, so that the surface of the packing is continuous and evenly distributed in space. Compared with the Bauer ring, the flux can be increased by 15-30% and the pressure drop can be reduced by 20-30%.
