Metal stepped ring packing is a new type of open hole packing. It is about half the diameter in height, with a tapered flange on one side, a window on the ring wall, and curved blades extending towards the center of the ring. Due to these special structures, the gas-liquid distribution within the packing layer has been improved, the gas-liquid contact points have been increased, which is conducive to the aggregation and dispersion of liquids and the continuous renewal of the membrane surface, thereby enhancing mass transfer and greatly improving separation efficiency.
